A Whale of a Time

Here's one for everyone who has ever campaigned to stop the slaughter of intelligent creatures that share their world with us! This is such good news we can hardly believe it - Japan has been told to stop scientific whaling immediately in the Antarctic! The UN’s highest court ruled that Japan is breaching its obligations under the International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling. Unnecessary killing of whales in this critical feeding ground will now finally stop. Hooray!
